TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF: ANDOVERSFORD 100 Club
Updated 08/06/2020
The Andoversford 100 Club
The ‘Andoversford 100 Club’ is registered with Cotswold District Council as a small society lottery (under the Gambling Act 2005) and is your chance to win cash prizes and support Andoversford Football Club, Andoversford Cricket Club and Andoversford Village Hall.
Our aim as a not-for-profit society is to firstly support the growth of the teams and the upkeep of the village hall and surrounding facilities, including the pavilion.
How does it work?
Set up your membership with the ‘Andoversford 100 Club’ by completing the registration form.
Set up your payment of £5 for each ticket you wish to have in the monthly draw. There is no limit to how many tickets you can have.
Once payment has been received, you will be allocated a number for each ticket paid for. A committee member will notify you of your allocated ticket number(s).
The tickets will be entered into the next available draw and will continue to remain in the monthly draw until payment ceases. When a membership ceases that number will be removed from the draw.
The draw will take place around 8pm on the last Friday of each month from 31/07/2020.
All prize winners will be contacted within one week of the draw.
All winnings will be paid by bank transfer. Winners will be asked for bank details when they are notified. Bank details will be retained within the online banking system compliant with GDPR.
Winners will be announced and displayed on the club website and on the various social media platforms the club has subscribed to.
Prizes
There will be 12 monthly prize draws, which will take place on the last Friday of each month and an additional draw on the first Friday after 15th December, in time for the winners to enjoy Christmas.
The value of the prizes will depend upon the number of tickets purchased, so the more people who join, the larger the prize fund will get. Ticket numbers that can be sold are not limited
In order to be eligible to enter the additional Christmas draw you must have been entered into the previous 6 monthly draws, June to November. (For year 1 (2020) this will be 5 monthly draws)
40% of all ticket sales will be allocated to the prize fund. From this amount 50% will be allocated to first prize, 25% will be allocated to second prize, 12.5% will be allocated to third prize. The remaining 12.5% will be accumulated for the additional Christmas draw.
Example:
If 100 tickets were sold = £500
40% = £200
1st prize = £100
2nd prize = £50
3rd prize = £25
£25 added to the Christmas prize draw fund.
The management committee will review the prizes every three months to ensure that they are fair and representative of the number of tickets sold.
